ok,so now...what?

OK maybe am abit ignorant but i live in Africa and our T.V channels have been on the United States elections since yesterday and am getting abit worked up.Ok there's nothing wrong with keeping us updated but must we(read i for those who do not agree) be subjected to this torture? i for one do not care who gets into congress,democrats or republicans what good will either serve us ??The United States has never done anybody any good for the simple sake of showing some humanity and we all know it,even the so called AID to 'Poverty stricken Africa' comes with strings(read Life chocking Ropes) attached.Unless someone can come up with another reason why this elections should be of any interest to me,i right now feel offended that our T.V channels even bother to give this so much air time.i would honestly rather keep counting the toes on my feet!!!

Ok, we'll quit sending any aid to any African nation. From what I've seen, most of it ends up in the hands of one Criminal regime or another, instead of making it to the people anyway...

But we will let you keep Sally Struthers. ;~D

I don't know why your tv stations devoted so much time to the U.S. elections. Maybe it's to feed your apparent hatred for people you've never even met.

Wow. As ParaTed said, it seems the billions of dollars we are pumping into backward nations isn't appreciated. If this is the popular consensus lets real in the cash machine and spend the money where it is appreciated.
